Dear Board Of Trustees and Mr. Bird,
I am writing to you today, to request new desks for the class of Room 22
at Muritai School. I am a student In Room 22 and not very pleased with the state of our desks.
The other classrooms have desks where they can easily pull out there stationary. Whereas, we have to stand up, walk from our desks to our very small tote trays, which are all placed together. So when we are all getting our equipment, it becomes a huge problem.
Second of all, our desks have been defaced, graffitied, and carved into, such as mine which has a big hole carved into it, has been scratched , and drawn on.
The desks in our classroom, are also not the same in : height, colour, and width.
We have 4 different types of desks in our class, and we would appreciate it, if we could only have one.
We need to treat our desks and different objects the same way we do with our peers, which we will definitely this year.
I believe a few of our desks in our class are unstable, which bothers me because if there is an earthquake and we hid below our desk, it would be likely to collapse on us.
I would be very grateful if we do happen do get new desks and not have to spend the year or two with the terrible condition of these desks. PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN FOR US!
Yours Sincerely,
Olivia Seymour
